Sliders are one of thoseexercise toolsthat I have a true love/hate relationship with.
Katie Thompson
Whenever an instructor says it’s time to use them, I am filled with dread.
During the slider exercise, I can literally only think “When will this end?”
But then afterward, I feel great.
I feel like I just crushed something really challenging and did something good for my body.
I’m really glad I did it.
And then I forget about these feelings of elation next class and my dread-pride cycle begins all over again.
Sliders are great for improving stability.
They challenge your body in new ways.
Which means you’ll hopefully start to err more on the side of love than hate.
If you don’t have sliders, you canfind a pair for about $10 on Amazon.
