Tommy Hilfiger had us cheering from the stands today whenit was announcedthat one of our favorite tennis superstars, Rafael Nadal, has signed on as the label’s global brand ambassador.
The two-year contract applies to the Tommy Hilfiger underwear and Tommy Hilfiger tailored collections and includes the fall campaigns for both lines, which will be shot in Spain next year.
The athlete has already proved he’s comfortable wearing very little in front of the camera (he modeled for Emporio Armani Underwear in 2011), and that’s not the only reason the partnership is a perfect one.
