You finally found the perfectTVseries.
Then, tragedy strikes.
Your go-to show is BOOMcancelled.
Unfortunately, this is a tale as old as time in the pop culture world.
Don’t worry long lost shows, you’ll always be in our hearts.
At least the show can rest in peace knowing the exec who cancelled itnow regrets it.
The LGBT-friendly show’s cancellation stirred upquite a bit of controversy, and for good reason.
At least it paved the way for Jonathan Groff toget his Hamilton on.
My So-Called Life
What happened inMy So-Called Lifeseason 2?
Though two decades have passed sinceMy So-Called Life’s tragic cancellation, we’re still not over it.
And TBH, we’ll probably never be over it.
Thankfully, CMT swept in to save the day and renew the series for a fifth season.
We’re intrigued to see where the show goes from here.
And fingers crossed it doesn’t get cancelled again, of course.
Still, that’s further than a lot of shows make it, so consider yourselves lucky,Newsroomfans.
Arrested Development
Arrested Developmenthas had a, well, complicated history.
Is season 5 coming?
Will there be a movie?
Togetherness
This Duplass brothers dramedy (drama/comedy) got to its second season before being cancelled by HBO.
Like, who cares if the show tackled unique story lines with emphatic and thoughtful writing?
Who cares if the characters were beautifully quirky?
Who cares if people effing loved this show?
WHO CARES?!?
Carrie Diaries
Sex And The Cityenthusiasts might have turned a blind eye to this CW revival.
But those who gave it a chance realized how captivating baby Carrie Bradshaw could be.
The story lines are just as cheesy (enthralling!
), the characters are just as silly (wonderful!
), and the fashion is just as absurd (incredible!).
But nothingnot even Carrie’s adorable former love interestcould keep this show from going kaput.
Ugly Betty
Everyone lovesAmerica Ferrera.
Yes, we thrived off Betty’s stylish ways, bubbly personality, and sassyModemagazine ways.
And no, 85 episodes were simply not enough.
(…#SixSeasonsAndAMovie?)
That’s what I thought.
Don’t Trust The B—- In Apartment 23
Krysten Ritter is great.
Too bad the big dogs didn’t think so.Apartment 23was gone after a mere two seasons.
Oh wellat least we can get our Ritter fix in Netflix’sJessica Jones.
Yes,The West Winghad a lot of seasons (seven, in fact).
And yes, it had a ton of episodes (156, in fact).
But that didn’t change the fact that this Aaron Sorkin classic was truly phenomenal.
“I still think it could’ve never ended,” she said.
I’m so sorry it did.
All of this is very, very sad.
