The overnight oat recipes can be made ahead of time (perfect formeal prep!)
and are served cold.
The warm oatmeal recipes take anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes to cook and are pretty much foolproof.
Some overnight oats are made with Greek yogurt, others with cottage cheese or coconut milk.
Liquid egg whites are best for this, since they’re already pasteurized and won’t scramble as quickly.
You stir together all of your overnight oat ingredients, then blend them into a puree before refrigerating.
I like topping it with chopped almonds for crunch, but you could use almond butter instead.
Here, they work alongside cottage cheese and pecans.
If you get sick of strawberries, try chopped cherries instead.
If that’s not for you, give this one a miss.
If you like coconut, though, these are a great way to switch things up.
It adds flavor and richness, but not any extra sugar.
