I wanted to give you a glimpse of what youll find in my pantry on any given day.
Here are 15 of my favorite go-to items that arent brown rice and quinoa.
Pumpkin Seeds
Pumpkin seeds are a nutrition goldmine.

Theyre also packed with manganese, phosphorus, magnesium, copper, and zinc.
I toss a tablespoon in mysmoothiemost mornings or enjoy this crunchy delight on top ofavocado toast.
Chia Seeds
We cant talk about seeds without shining the spotlight on my darling chia.
These can be pricey, but my secret is to buy them in bulk at Costco.
I add a tablespoon to my smoothies in the morning or sprinkle a teaspoon on top of myoatmealfor brekky.
), but I do use it as a hair cleanser.
For me, this seems to help remove buildup without stripping my hair of its natural oils.
Since I started doing this, my locks have been ridiculously soft and shiny.
I mean, whats not to love?
The best part is that its totally healthy because it counts as a serving of whole grains.
I wanted to start fresh, so I tried to ship as few items as possible.
What made the cut?
Three suitcases packed with clothes, a box of shoes, a bike, and my oil mister.
Its that important to me.
I love mister because I can get all of the flavor for a fraction of the calories.
I spray a few squirts on my popcorn, salads, avocado toast, and everything in between.
If you dont have one I suggest getting one.
Nuts And Dried Fruit
Sometimes I dont have the energy to make my own trail mix.
Actually…Ive never had the energy to make my own trail mix.
More power to you if you do!
Just pop one in your purse and enjoy it when you need a mid-morning snack.
As a vegetarian, these are one of my favorite sources of protein.
Each cup has about 15 grams of protein and roughly the same amount of fiber.
I add beans tochili,tacos, soups,salads,burritos,brownies(!!!
),tostadas,veggie burgers, hummus, and moresalads.
The possibilities are endless.
Steel-Cut Oats
I love these quick cooking steel-cut oats because theyre ready to go about eight minutes.
I promise this will get your day started off right.
Pecans
Call me nuts but Ive been on a pecan kick recently, and I like it.
Rice Seasoning
This seasoning literally brings my (sometimes) dull brown rice to life.
Tea
Surprisingly, I dont drink that much tea.
Which is odd because itsreally good for youespecially the green, black, and white varieties.
Either way, I always have the pantry stocked with some delish teas for guests.
Right now I have this chai vanilla caramel blend in my cabinet.
Toasted Sesame Seed Oil
I love this toasted sesame seed oil.
Nut Butter
Almond, peanut, sunflowerIve got em all.
And I really use them (as you might tell by the half empty bottles above).
Nut butters are another great source of good fats and protein.
Straws
Just because!
This a must for any coconut curry dish.
Green chili, garlic, lemongrass, Thai ginger, salt, shallot, spices, and kaffir lime.
Add a spoonful of this deliciousness to coconut milk and it will take your curry to the next level.
