Then I asked people what bookstheirtherapists have recommended they read on their quests for better self-knowledge.
This book was supposed to tell me something about myself I didnt already know?
All I did was brush past you!suddenly it was all being explained to me.
The author was telling me this could be positive, it could be my advantage.
It could be agoodthing.

Thats just a prediction for now, because it appears to have that impact but isnt yet scientifically validated.

We must find ways to proactively promote our well-being.
This book unpacks why self-actualization and self-recovery are critical forBlack women.
Although it was originally released in 1993, its message is still remarkably relevant and powerful.

Its old and not the easiest read, but its loaded with a ton of ah ha moments.
Why do we remember forward, and not backward?

What does it mean to be a savant?
I dont even think you need someone in your life with schizophrenia for this book to impact you.
Id recommend it to anyone who wants to understand a misunderstood disorder more, and that should be everyone.
Because its a slim book, its also really practical as a gift or something for a book club.
