And the next morning, we woke up feeling more refreshed than we had in months.
Going to bed at 10 P.M. is not exactly rocket science, I know.
That stillness has a Sanskrit name, too:sattwa.

Sattwais a state of mind where theres an absence of restlessness, when youre feeling most at ease.
But I will say that Ive been better about going to sleep earlier on nights when Im home.
Another Kripalu rule is that breakfast is silent.

We kept making eye contact with each other, stifling our giggles and trying to communicate with signals.
And you know what?
It was kind of glorious.

On these days, I dont start checking my emails while Im eating.
I dont read while Im eating, either.
And thats a yogic lesson we certainly didnt learn on a rubber mat.
