Do 12 reps; switch legs and repeat for one set.

Switch sides and repeat.

Horse StanceStart on floor with knees under hips, hands under shoulders and back flat.

Extend left arm forward, fingers separated and right leg back, parallel to floor with foot flexed.

Hold for five breaths; flow to next pose.

Elevated Lunge

Stand with your back to a chair, bench or stair, feet shoulder-width apart.

Take a large step forward with left leg.

Then place top of right foot on the chair behind you.

Slowly lower until thighs form right angles with shins.

(Don’t let knee go beyond toes.)

Push back up to start through left heel, not toes, to target the glutes.

Do 20 reps; switch legs and repeat.

Plie Toe SquatStand with feet wider than shoulder width, toes pointing slightly out.

Place hands on hips.

Squat, sticking butt back.

Rise on the balls of feet, maintaining squat, until thighs are nearly parallel to the floor.

Return to start, lowering both heels.

Stick butt back as far as you could and step forward.

Keeping your abs tight, continue to walk forward - still squatting - pushing off with each heel.

Take 15 steps on each leg.
