This wasn’t the first home birth for Amurri Martino, who is the daughter of actress Susan Sarandon.

She also delivered her daughter, Marlowe, through a home birth in 2014.

Still, Amurri Martino wrote on her blog that she felt nervous going into Major’s birth.

Her labor with Marlowe lasted 36 hours, and she feared another long labor awaited her.

Luckily, that wasn’t the case with Major.

She took a walk outside, and notified her midwives and doula to head over.

They told her she was dilated eight centimeters, and Amurri Martino knew Major was coming soon.

That calmed her down and allowed her to really enjoy her homebirth.
