Kristen Bellis refreshingly honest and down-to-earth.
So it’s no surprise that herfitness routineis totally relatable, too.
That doesn’t mean she exactlyenjoysworking out though.
“I hate them all,” Bell tells SELF.
“But they make me feel good so I keep coming back.”
Living healthfully is a priority for Belleven if she doesn’t love working out.
“It just seems, to me, like a no-brainer,” she says.
Another no-brainer for Bellgetting active, even when she really doesn’t want to.
Bell does Pilates and runs (even though she sort of hates it).
“But I just put on apodcaston and that gets me through it.”
When she’s not busyjumping on the treadmillor jogging around her neighborhood, Bell will doPilates.
“In the long-term, it makes my body feel better.
Bell is all about workout videos onwait for itYouTube.
Most days, Bell just turns toYouTube to get her sweat on.
She’s definitely not a creature of habit when it comes her go-to channels, though.
“They’re pretty random when I choose them!”
She also has a DVD-sharing rotation with her friends.
“My friends and I circulate DVDs,” says Bell.
“And also I think it’s a really nice example for them.”
Being active is important for her, but she’s not always working out.
Bell’s approach to staying healthy is all about balance.
So then my body just doesn’t feel stagnant.”
And she doesn’t force herself to work out in the morning.
Whilemorning workoutsare a great fit for some people, Bell is just fine skipping them.
In fact, I don’t even really even want to seethemthe first hour!"
She usually fits in fitness early in the afternoon.
She fuels her fitness in super-simple ways.

Bell is a fan of keeping it simple.
“I eat a lot of bars in our household!
They’re super healthy but they’re also really tasty.”
And for Bell, working out is a huge part of her mental health, too.
“It’s huge,” stresses Bell.
“I always feel mentally better after I work out.”
