For much of the country, it’s arctic COLD outside.
And do you know what comes with the cold, dreary weather?
Aliiiiittledose of Seasonal Affective Disorder.

It’s called “SAD” for a reason.)
It’s a real thing, and it’s OK if you have to deal with it.
Let me dispense a strategy and some heart-melting animal GIFs to get you through this tough time.
First, I get it.
Being locked inside all the time sucks.
No morning runs around the neighborhood, no sipping sangria on your porch…
It’s just this.
All the time, this.
All the stress gets pent up in that apartment with you.
So, if you oughta, have a good cry.
You don’t have to have a legit reason.
Just come to terms with the SAD-ness.
It’s OK to get mad, too.
Heck, you could go through the whole five stages of grief over sunshine and outdoor fun.
Whatever helps you get past it.
But eventually, I am going to force you out of your grumpy mood.
Time to make like the Grinch and clear room deep in your heart for warm and fuzzy feelings.
Grab a friend and go for a workout.
If it’s possible for you to brave the temperatures, even for a few minutes, even better.
Take your buddy outside.
And when you get back, I’ve got the cutest picture of a toppling panda to show you.
I’d also be remiss to leave out these cute puppies.
YAWNING, no less.
And in bow ties!
If not, I’ve got more.
And if I were there right now, I’d give you a big hug.
Since I’m not, I’ll send the sentiment via these adorable kittens.
(And I will question if you are human.)
