Mishlers digital world has continued to expand too.

She recently collaborated withMandukato create a limited-edition capsule collection including everything from sustainable mats to recycled foam blocks.

Use yoga to connect and supportin whichever way is most helpful at the time.

In 2012, Mishler was pursuing an acting career and teaching full time at a private high school.

At first, growth was slow.

By 2018, four million practitioners had become Yoga With Adriene devotees, according to theNew York Times.

Mishlers online content began to take on even more importance.

Yoga is always about your internal experiencenever about comparison.

In fact, she describes her practice now as becoming quieter.

The way I teach has [become quieter] too, she says.

My main goal these days is to create a safe space for people to feel like they belong.

To initiate the door and then get out of the way.

I am by your side supporting you all the way, but youits you making the moves.

Its you making the real magic.

A beginners mindset pays dividends.

The first wave of videos we uploaded were all foundational videos, she says.

The first practice video is an entire session just onsukhasanai.e., easy pose [cross-legged seat].

What she does focus on is creating practical, actionable content.

To practice for the long haul, dont think of yoga in terms of ability or achievement.

But Mishler says handstands andbackbendsarent the real goals at hand.

You dont have to be good at yoga to practice yoga, Mishler says.

Yoga is about taking time to connect to yourself and something bigger than yourself, all at once.

Its also about equipping yourself with the tools necessary for healing and for knowing its okay to fall.
