Tell us a little bit about how you createdOh She Glows?

I’ve also created theOh She Glows Cookbook.

What inspires the recipes you create for your site?

Are You Glowing Angela Liddon of Oh She Glows Shares How You Can

Oh She Glowsis all about healthy, mindful eating but still treating yourself.

Is this also your personal nutrition motto?

I’m a strong believer that healthy eating doesn’t have to be perfect all the time.

That’s why I always make room for indulgences (like my favoritepotato chipsorchocolate cake!).

It keeps me sane and balanced.

What’s been one of your favorite dishes on your site?

Probably my15-Minute Creamy Avocado Pasta.

It’s quick, healthy and decadent!

What more could you ask for?

As for a quick and easy dessert, I love myOne Bowl Double Chocolate Chunk Cookies.

In addition to being vegan, they are gluten-free and nut-free too.

It’s 3pm and you’re getting hungry.

What healthy snack are you reaching for?

Hummus and crackers or veggies.

It’s not the most unique snack, but it always hits the spot!

What about a signature cocktail?

Even glowing women need a drink every now and then, right?

Cranberry lime vodka soda is my go-to drink.

It’s low in sugar and doesn’t give me a hangover.

I really can’t do sugary drinks!

What do you eat pre-/post-workout?

Pre-workout is usually something simple like a banana and almond butter (the best!!)

I just throw it all in and blend it’s a great recovery smoothie!

Sometimes, healthy food can be more expensive.

Which gourmet ingredient are you always willing to splurge on?

Himalayan Pink Sea Salt.

It’s an unrefined sea salt rich in minerals and without additives commonly found in table salt.

Once I tasted it, I was hooked!

What staple do you always keep in your fridge or pantry?

Coconut oil is my favorite option for cooking and baking due to its heart-healthy, antifungal and antibacterial properties.

I always have some in my pantry!

It’s great in pretty much anything from raw desserts to baked goods to savory recipes.

It has a high smoke point so you might also fry it without damaging the properties of the oil.

Did I mention it also makes a great eye makeup remover?

What can’t coconut oil do?!

I have no answer.

Give us a typical day of meals what are you cooking up for yourself on the regular?

Breakfast is usually aGreen Monstersmoothie with protein powder.

Or some days it’s vegan overnight oats/raw buckwheat porridge with fresh fruit and granola.
