How do you find balance with such a demanding schedule?

I do a lot of different things, it really just depends on my day.

If I have a Sunday off Ill go to a dance class.

I just always have to keep switching up my fitness routine, because that’s what my body likes.

Working out issuch a meditative thingfor me.

It keeps me sane.

I feel like part of my job as an actor is to be in my body.

Do you have any favorite snacks or meals that power you through the day?

Ill have some scrambled eggs on toast.

If Im running low on energy, I love having carrots with hummus or some apples.

If Im needing something sweet, Ill grab a piece of dark chocolate.

For anyone who isn’t familiar, what isBlindspotabout?

Blindspotis an action-adventure drama.

You mentioned that being an actor has a lot to do with feeling present in your body.

Do you think acting and fitness have a lot in common?

My first experience as an artist was being a dancer.

Every character that I approach, I come to from a physical point.

I’ve heard that you’re a fan of taking pole dancing classes.

Do you have any tips for women who want to try it but may be intimidated?

I highly recommend it.

But these classes areclasses.

Youre not performing at a strip club or anything.

My favorite part of the class is the improvised movement.

I think if youre afraid, you should do it anyway.

I think youll find so much confidence in your body afterward.

Its so much fun, and its harder in ways that you wouldnt expect!

I think its great that women of all ages and sizes feel like they have control of their body.

I think its what makes us strong outside.
