They’re a versatile, inexpensive, portable training tool.
And once you’ve picked a band, how can you use it to get a great workout?
We asked Advantage Trainer Stephanie Laff ofThe Sports Club LAto take us through a mini “band camp.”
**You’ll need:A light- to medium- resistance band.
Bring your left foot to meet your right as you stand up and press your arms straight overhead.
Repeat 8 to 10 times before changing direction.Aim for three sets.

The Move: Step Back Lunge and Row.

**Target: This move hones in on the glutes, back and biceps.
Repeat with the left leg.Continue alternating legs for 16 to 20 repetitions.Aim for 3 sets.
The Move:Double Lunge with Rotation.

**Target: This one will work your thighs, abs and shoulders.
**You’ll need: A light to medium band and an anchor.
