SELFy Stars: Before you were the glamourous E!

host, you were putting yourself through college as a makeup artist.

What are your favorite looks for spring?Catt Sadler: An easy go-to is the lip.

I thought it was gorgeous.

Red is just so hard.

It intimidates people, and who wants to wear the wrong red?

It really does matter.

An orangey, tangeriney color is a lot easier for people to pull off.

I thought her dress was amazing.

If anyone could pull it off, she could and she looked so gorgeous.

If I could rock a dress like that, I absolutely would.

People who always look classic and beautiful like Kate Winslet and Sandra Bullock.

Sandra’s hair was stunning.

She wore the classic red lip and her gown was so beautiful.

It was a classic, America’s Sweetheart look.

Gerard Butler voices the father of this character Hiccup and America Ferrera is in it.

It has every single element.

I literally laughed and cried.

My kids loved it.

We talked about it all weekend.

SS: What do you watch on TV?CS: I’m a fan ofGlee.

I love that show.

SS: There is no way you were a Rachel.CS: No, no, I wasn’t.

SS: You were like Quinn but not knocked up?CS: There you go, exactly.

SS: Were you already at E!

when the movieKnocked Upcame out?CS: Funny that you bring that up.

Yes, I was.

And, speaking ofKnocked Up, I was in that movie.

SS: You were?CS: Yeah, so weird.

Yeah, if you buy the bonus DVD you will find me in the deleted scenes.

What were you doing in it?CS: Well, I played myself.

We are gossiping about who the father is and have you seen him and is he cute?

SS: It is all Katherine Heigl’s fault.CS: Yes, blame her.

SS: You were that good.

She felt threatened.CS: That’s what it is.

The coolest part about the experience was being directed by someone as great as Judd Apatow.

He is so funny!

She is just so quirky and funny and full of love and not overly rehearsed.

They get the whole point of having press.

Drew Barrymore is fantastic.

Rosario Dawson is another favorite of mine.

I think she is such a neat girl.

She is so talented and so real and she always looks so beautiful.

SS: What are your music tastes like?CS: I have a total girl crush on Rihanna.

She is such a bad ass and I just love her music.

I like to crank up Rihanna in my car.

If I really need to wake up and get going Lady Gaga is another one.

Her new song “Telephone” with Beyonce–I am mildly addicted.

I’m not afraid to admit it.

I always have music on.

I have music on in my house more than I have the television on.

My little five-year-old knows all of this stuff.

It’s pretty funny.

Those are so cute on you.’

I thought it was so funny.

And then I thought how in the world does he even know what John Mayer wears?

It was so funny.

That was not a compliment.

SS: He is a smart little guy.CS: I know.

SS: How do you pull off being a mom, being on E!

As far as diet goes I just attempt to maintain everything in moderation.

Simple things that really make a difference.

SS: What’s easier for you?

I’m not going to lie.

My workout routine is all over the place.

Whenever I can fit it in I do.

Afterwards she’s like, ‘Now I know how you stay fit.

You don’t sit down.’

And I’m like, no, we don’t sit still.

We are always in motion.

I just don’t have two hours to go to a personal trainer every other day.

I just don’t.

Is that something you think about?CS: It is absolutely something I think about.

Back in high school that was part of our family dinner.

We eat because it fuels us up and we eat because it is good for us.

We eat because the vitamins in the foods.

One of the reasons I love raising my kids in California is that they’re exposed to so much.

My kids, 9 and 5, eat octopus and seaweed.

They have been exposed to more.

I literally put raw seaweed in their lunch boxes today.

SS: Whether on the carpet or hosting your show, you always seem in control.

Any advice for readers who might feel nervous speaking in public?CS: Sure.

My mom always told me: you have to just be a first rate version of yourself.

Somehow, someway you have to find a way to be comfortable in your own skin.

And I think that is easiest when you are genuine.

Know your game backwards and forwards.

That will give you confidence.

Also, people respond to warmth.

Accessibility and relatibility worked for me.

That is just who I am.

I think that would help people in those situations.
