Gilles Bensimon
She’s dressed in jeans and a T-shirt, with her hair pulled into a messy bun.
“I can sleep so hard now, I love it!”
Anyone familiar with Teigen knows that she goes hard and puts 110 percent into pretty much everything she does.

At 18, a modeling agent found her working in a surf shop in Huntington Beach, California.
“I feel that I run well in chaos.”
Nowhere is her nonstop energy (and total honesty) more on display than on social media.
(She got more than 30,000 likes for admitting that!)
Her journey to motherhood is a topic she’s been more private about, though.
Teigen and Legend wanted to have a child but struggled to conceive.
“I thought, People get pregnant by accident all the time!
How does this happen?”
“Emotionally, it could be really hard,” she says.
“When you have these high-highs and low-lows, and you’re, like, cuckoo pants.”
But success didn’t happen right awaythe couple had to try IVF a few times.
“I looked horrible, totally not myself,” she says.
“Then to not be able to say what it was, it sucked.”
Through it all, Legend, who Teigen says has always been wonderful, remained her rock.
“He completely understands everything; he’s a sweet, sentimental, emotional guy,” she says.
Once Teigen found out she was pregnant, she announced it on Instagram (naturally!)
with a photo of Legend rubbing her belly.
She later revealed the sex of the baby in another post.
The outpouring of support she received IRL and online surprised her.
“Once we talked about IVF, it was like I heard everything.
Teigen has been just as intense about keeping up with her fitness habits.
“I work out every day,” she says.
“I still feel fit and energetic.
In a way, I’m healthier now that I’m pregnant.”
And I’m like, OK, I need something in between that!'”
Teigen’s fans will easily recognize the star’s distinctive voice in the text that accompanies each recipe.
It’s delicious!"
Still, she anticipated the digs others might make.
“I’ve always been the first one to say, Bulls—!
No you don’t.'
Her approach: She eats what she loves but stays super active, too.
“I like having that balance,” she says.
But I feel very good.”
“He’s been wonderful.
“It’s going to be very sexy to see this new side of him.”
“I’ve truly never been alone with a kid.
I don’t think I’ve changed a diaper!
I’m like, how many times a day do they go?”
But she already knows that she and Legend will bring different styles to the mix.
“I’m a worrier, and he’s very laid-back,” she says.
Would you let her have some wine?'
And he’s like, Yeah.'
And I’m like, I don’t know if I would!'
I am the crazier one in the relationship, and he’s more relaxed, for sure.”
And in true Teigen fashion, she doesn’t just want one child, but many.
“I think I’ll probably be pregnant all through my 30s,” she says.
“I’ve always pictured everyone around the table for the holidays and together once a week.
It’ll be heartbreaking if it doesn’t end up happening, but hopefully it will.
We’ve got some embryos on hold.”
Her ideal number of kids?
“Four is good, I think.
And then, maybe a dog after.”
Like everything else in her life, she approaches growing her family with a sense of humor.
