I’m going to be honest with you.

And that kind of intrusive (and illegal) behavior is something no amount of fangirl passion can justify.

This leak is only one of several similar incidents to make headlines this month.

She was awarded $55 million in damages after videos of her fully nude were put online.

We know stuff like this is messed up, so why does it keep happening?

It’s because of people like meand likely, you as well.

That’s why I’m vowing never to look at a leaked photo again.

And I encourage you to do the same.

Stealing someone’s information and sharing it without their consent is a form of bullying.

So let’s just call this what it is: bullying.

And when I use the phrase “choosing to look,” I mean it.

I may have stumbled upon the headlines covering the leak, but the photos weren’t thrust upon me.

So how can I justify doingjust thatin the case of a photo leak?

The answer is simple: I can’t.

We all know what happened to Andrews was bad.

So why is my reaction so different when it comes to celebrities who’ve taken photos of themselves?

I genuinely couldn’t tell you.

But after that, the incidents were the same.

After Lawrence’s nudes were leaked in 2014, she opened up about the traumatic experience.

I was just so afraid," she toldVanity Fair.

“Just because Im a public figure does not mean that I asked for this.

It does not mean that it comes with the territory.

That’s super messed up.

That’s the only explanation I can come up with for my apparent hypocrisy.

But the time for that has ended.

That’s just not OK.

So from now on, this girl is saying no to photo leaksregardless of how exciting they may be.

And she’s hoping you’ll join her.
