In fact, theyre already teaching their childrenparticularly Lunato give back in everyday ways.

Luna is insanely empathetic, Teigen tells SELF in a joint interview with Legend.

Shes never once cried about it or complained.

Its just too much, Teigen says.

Chrissy will ask mebecause she knows I work a lot with different nonprofitsWho can we give this to?

I want to give this away to this group or that group.

I want to help these people, Legend says.

Leave it to the Internets First Family to lead the way in doing so.

But Teigen is welcoming the relative stillness with open arms.

I finally realized that more is not more, she says.

More is more, but it doesnt mean better.

I would drive myself crazy for years every Thanksgiving.

I would have 15, 16 sides.

People would only take the tiniest scoop of green bean casserole, she continues.

I would do so much.

And I would only drive myself crazy.

This year, its really much more about the enjoyment that comes from cooking.

I want to go back to it not being a chore, or not being work.

Were trying to groom them into more omnivorous people, Legend says.

[Luna] doesnt like food touching each othershe doesnt like them mixed together.

She doesnt like complications of multiple ingredients.

She wants it simple.

Im trying to change her, but its not happening yet.

Thats more than okay with Teigenits crucial for proper recipe editing.

In school theyre taught to say, I dont like broccoli yet, Teigen says.

So theres that word, yet, at the end that we use a lot in the house.

If Lunas trying a tomato, shell say, I dont like the tomato.

And Ill say, What?

And she goes, I dont like this tomatoyet.

Its so optimistic, Legend says.

I like the yet.

Its so hopeful about tomorrow.

Were lucky, and our kids are lucky that they have a mom who is so into it.

I think Chrissy is more than up to the task.

We have to take care of each other, he says.
