Growing up, I collectedsweatpants.
You know, the kind that bunched at the ankle that you bought new everysportseason.
Nice look, right?

The catch is, post-college, I can’t really wear cut-up sweat pants outside.
And then I discovered joggers.
At first, I was reluctant to give them a try.
Running to thegrocery store?
Throw on some joggers.
They’re like an elevated cutoff sweatpant that I can wear just about anywhere.
In case you’re wondering, I’ve now collected enough to refill that sweatpants drawer.
Here are my top jogger picks.
I like to wear them to and from aworkout, or just to hang out.
New Balance Classic Tailored Sweatpant, $65
These were essential when I ran my firstRagnar Relay.
I could sleep, eat, relax, and drive in these.
They weren’t super baggy and were easy to adjust with the drawstring waist.
I did end up rolling them at the top because they were a bit long for me.
I wouldn’t recommend wearing them in the heat, but they’re actually perfect for cool summer nights.
They are the pants I reach for when I’m not feeling well and want toloungearound all weekend long.
Plus, they’re easy to wash, and come out looking and feeling the exact same.
They also don’t wrinkle, which is clutch.
The black leather accent up the side is a nice (and fancy!)
The breathable, breezy material is ideal to throw onpre- or post-workout.
These are also perfect for summer travel whether you’re running to catch a flight or sitting lakeside.
Outdoor Voices Running Sweats, $95
Outdoor Voices always gets its fabric right.
No awkward readjusting needed.
you might catch me rocking these with an OV crop top all weekend long.
Get them in gray, black, or this slate blue.
The silky soft material shines under the light, but also wicks away sweat.
The cotton fabric is quite thinin a good, perfect-for-summer way.
There’s also just one side-seam pocket, perfect for holding your keys.
Tantris Seluxe Pleated Jogger Pant, $88
Really intohigh-waisted pants?
These are for you.
I love how the thick waistband rises all the way above my belly button.
I wore these for my secondRagnar Relay, and once again, they saved the day.
I’ll definitely be packing these for my next summer trip.
