What key in ofworkouts do they do?
Do they ever get days off?
Do they also hate doingburpees?
They must, right?
(The show will air on December 5 on CBS.)
Heres how it went.
This is definitely not correct. SOS.

Dont go easy on me, I said.
So its not boring, well start with the basics and then mix it up, he says.
First move: forearm plank.
Then I repeated the same thing in aside plankon each side.
Tricky, but smart!
Allen explained that the movements are simply to prevent boredom and make planks go by quicker.
(All of these moves are pictured, in order, above.)
This is one of the key things we use for the girls for the abs, Allen told me.
Anything having to do with balance you have to engage your core.
This first move we did had me sitting on the equipment and leaning back.
Then we did some obliques work: Lean against ball.
Crunch up to the side for eight reps. Switch sides.
Now youre just picking your legs off the floor and over the dumbbell without touching the ground.
And still doing yourtriceps, said Allen.
Simultaneously lifting each leg up and over its own dumbbell was really damn hard.
(Im also very uncoordinated, which Im sure did not help.)
And that comes from practicing, said Allen.
I slogged through this move, and made a mental note that I should probably work on that later.
Its so simple but quite challenging, and I think with practice I could definitely get it down.
I asked him how many reps his Victorias Secret model clients do at a timethe answer was 50.
I had a hard time doing more than 10 in a row.
(You gotta start somewhere, right?)
With each turn I crept closer to the mirror until I had to get off and reset myself.
You know that P.E.
Its one of the oldest abs exercises, but I put a variation on it, Allen said.
There was also a straddle involved.
This is definitely not correct. SOS.
This is not easy to explain, so like enjoy this video.
(Note: This was my second time through, the first did not look so elegant.)
This was the hardest part of the entire workout.
He put my feet into the suspended straps and told me to hold a plank.
Holding your body up while suspended in the straps is really damn hard.
Youre engaging so many muscles to do it, not just the core.
Then, he had me twist my torso to the side and pull my knees in toward my elbows.
Turn, fire up the legs and pull your knees in.
No, just pull your knees in.
Stay in your plank position.
When I work out, I like to dohigh-intensity exercisesto up the calorie burn and build endurance.
Since these exercises were low-intensity, it felt surprisingly easy at first.
