Peel-off masks have been popping up in my Instagram feed non-stop lately.
Everyone is obsessed with peeling GIFsfrom super shiny versions to gunky green looks.
But personally, Ive never had a good experience with peel-offmasks.

So, I wanted to find peel-off masks that actually deliver a satisfying and easy removal.
The goal: to peel the whole mask off in one fell swoop.
Then I tried the H20+ mask on this list and discovered it was possible.
A lot of what Im about to say (write?)
is stated on the back of the products.
First, you have to apply it as evenly as possible.
A simple way to do this is by using an applicator.
Also, while youre applying, focus on one area at a time.
Therefore, itll be sticky and pick up when you go back and touch it.
So finish one area before moving on, lightly connecting it to the next area.
This meanseyebrows, hairline, and underneath your eyes where the bottom lashes can touch.
Also, peeling product off baby hairs is not funand sometimes painful.
This last thing is keylet the mask dry completely.
Keeping all that in mind, these were the best peel-off masks I tested.
Even after testing them all, this one peeled off the easiest without leaving any residue behind.
The mask is basically odorless and super sticky, making it easy to lift away.
In fact, its become so popular that it sold out at Ulta.
As beautiful as the shimmery finish is, it serves a bigger purpose than just itsInstagram appeal.
The formula uses diamond powder to help give skin a glow.
For a totally clean peel, I highly recommend using the silicone applicator to apply.
The formula removes excess oil and traces ofpollutionfrom the skin.
Although its on the pricier end, its well worth it.
You add cold water to the preportioned bowl to make a rubbery paste texture instead of a sticky serum.
Once you figure it out, youll love how smooth this mask makes your skin immediately after using it.
Boscia Sake Bright White Mask, $38
Another shiny mask, another internet favorite.
Similar to the I Dew Care Kitten, this mask has a beautiful white-pink glow.
To get a perfect peel from this one, you definitely need to confirm theres a nice thick layer.
But once you do that, its great!
It fightshyperpigmentationwith ingredients like sake to help deliver a radiant, even complexion.
Freeman Feeling Beautiful Facial Peel-Off Mask Cucumber, $3
Talk about more bang for your buck!
This drugstore find uses cucumber extract and aloe to hydrate and soothe the skin.
Its a great choice for those with supersensitive skin.
I found that both the app and removal process felt surprisingly refreshing.
While some of these peel-off masks left my face red, this one just gave me a healthy glow.
Not to mention, it makes your skin feel taut while you wear it and after it comes off.
