A day in Hills life looks like total chaos, she tells SELF.

Hill and her husband, Ian Wallace, recently moved to Los Angeles and redesigned their dream house.

During the week, I consider it a win if I’m able to get to sleep before midnight.

I feel like my sweet spot is really in between 10:30 and 11:30.

There’s usually never anything early in the morning, because you’re covering games at night.

But once I started doing television, when I was at ESPN, my schedule completely flipped.

I’m also still making the adjustment to living on the West Coast.

I’m the kind of person who needs to ease into my day.

My husband is the exact opposite.

The alarm could go off and he will wake right up.

I am the person that hits snooze, like, three times.

And then when I hit snooze, I still lie there for a good 20 minutes.

I might check my phone, or I might just turn on the TV.

I need to not feel like my day is off to a shotgun start.

I’ve just got to ease into the day.

So now I’m back to drinking coffee.

It’s theCelestial Seasonings Sleepytime herbal tea, and alsoYogi Bedtime Tea.

Those are my go-tos.

But this spray is really good in that it softens your face.

I want a luxurious, bubble-filled bath that is truly a relaxation.

I’ll spend an hour in there.

We hired an incredible design team, and they kind of knew what our vision was for the house.

It’s more important for me for the bedroom in particular to have a feel to it.

Our color scheme in our room is a turquoisewe have turquoise curtains, and a turquoise bench.

I just needed more brightness around our house periodand our bedroom reflects that.

I didn’t have a lot of downtime.

So there was this whole bucket of reality television I missed.

Now, it’s a lot different, because I don’t have to watch sports as vigilantly.

That in combination with being married.

We’ve become those married people who have designated show nights.

Monday isBelow Deck Mediterranean, Tuesday isMillion Dollar Listing.

We watchLove After Lockup.

For me, it is very relaxing to be able to lose myself in some completely pointless television.

Pretty much every night we either go to sleep watchingMartinor theFresh Prince of Bel-Air.

But I am one of those people that suffers from having a mind that races all the time.

On her advice for other work wife duos

RespectI think that’s the minimum.

Cari and I, in addition to being good friends, we really respect one another.

We may disagree on something, but it’s never going to come from a place of disrespect.

So I think that’s helpful.

I just can’t imagine any scenario where I would put the show above our friendship.

There are boundaries, like we know how to argue.
