We are over the moon–it really is an indescribable feeling.
We pour our hearts into this show and can only hope that audiences feel the same way we do.
This whole experience has been a dream come true and a story we will tell for years to come.

I’m extremely grateful!
Have you always wanted to be a Broadway actress?
What was the road like that led you to this role?
This business has a lot of ups and downs and I learned that pretty quickly.
I’m grateful for every moment in my career thus far that’s led me to this very moment.
What’s the biggest risk you’ve ever taken?
You know, I keep saying that Katherine Plumber is everything I want to be.
She is strong and fearless–I admire her.
I think the biggest risk I have taken in my life so far is going into theater.
All of us in this business are taking a huge risk!
It can be grueling.
You are told “no” 90 percent of the time.
You’re one of only a few girls in the cast.
What is it like working with all the guys?
Not a bad job, eh?
But truly, we have such a blast.
I never had brothers growing up, so it’s as if I have inherited over 20 brothers!
I love each and every one of them dearly.
T here’s a lot that goes into the singing and dance choreography of this performance.
How do you stay fit?
Newsies is definitely aerobic!
I’m a big advocate of yoga.
I do that before every show to get my muscles warmed up and stretched.
I also have a foam roller and a tennis ball in my dressing room to massage sore muscles.
Eight performances a week, plus appearances and rehearsals doesn’t leave much time for relaxing.
How do you sneak some time for yourself during your busy days?
It can be a very busy schedule for sure!
Making time for myself and loved ones is very important.
Seeing family is what brings me peace.
We also love camping–that is the ultimate form of relaxation.
No cell phones, no computers, no television–just peace and quiet, and a campfire.

You’ll be performing on Broadway throughout the summer in Newsies.
What are you looking forward to most for summer in New York City?
I can’t wait for summer in the city!
I love all the free activities in the parks that become available to us New Yorkers.
And everyone just seems to smile more.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
What is your go-to healthy breakfast?
I have oatmeal with peanut butter on top every morning–I love peanut butter so much!
What is your guilty pleasure?
Definitely The Bachelor–Don’t judge me!
