Lady Gaga dedicated her 2016 Grammys performance to someone very influential in her life: The lateDavid Bowie.
Bowie, an iconic performer, passed away in January at the age of 69 after battling cancer.
A few hours before the ceremony, Gaga posted a tribute to Bowie on her Instagram account.

She was overcome with emotion while having her makeup done.

And all of her costumes were on point.
