She explained to an ABC presenter that campus rape is a huge problem for people of all genders.
“One in five women will be raped by the time they finish college,” Gaga said.
“One in 20 men will be raped by the time they finish their schooling at university.”
Tonight’s raw performance was incredibly moving, and raised awareness about such an important issue.
