I am having a lot of fun with this blog so far, and with only one day in!
I love hearing your feedback, especially your tried and true tips.
I’m learning from you too, and discovering what a nice community Cristin helped build.
If you read this blog, I assume you love food.
The perfect excuse to enjoy an evening of take out food he could bring home for me.
Being large restaurant portions, so I had some delicious ingredients to utilize in an entree salad today.
With only two slices of ahi left, I tossed in some canned, rinsed black beans.
I devoured the avocados last night, so added some more slices of those.
Dinner:
While walking through the grocery store aisles today, the ground bison drew me in.
The package stated, “raised without antibiotics” and “no added hormones.”
I shop at a “main stream” grocery store, as I like to call it.
I wasn’t sure what I wanted to make with it - maybe pasta?
How about bison burgers?
Then I grilled them over medium heat to medium doneness, which is slightly pink in the middle.
I toasted the buns on the grill too.
The vegetable du jour was steamed broccoli spritzed with fresh lemon juice and buttery spray.
A glass of red wine paired with it perfectly.
Cheers to hump day.
What do you put in your burger?
