Blinkist is an app that summarizes books in 15 minutes.
I can’t tell you how many entrepreneurship books I have.
Ill start to read one and I’m like, This is the same.
All these things are the same thing.
I just want the key takeaways here.
So I’ll listen to them and I actually repeat listening to them so they really stick with me.
Then I’ll get in the shower.
I like a warm shower at first, and I wet my hair completely.
You’re supposed to wet your hair entirely before you put anything else on it.
The first shampoo gets rid of all the oil from your scalp.
I highly recommend a second shampoo, and that’s where the lather comes in.
If your shampoo lathers immediately, it probably has sulfates in it, and it may strip your hair.
Using the little pads of your fingers, just scalp massage all the way around.
It should feel amazing.
Then I will condition, or I will go straight to a hair mask.
I use theRenewal Hair Masktwice a week, and it has changed my hair.
My hair literally dries differently when I use itI notice when I don’t use it.
I have days where I just keep it in for five minutes, and I use Comb No.
002 to comb it through my hair.
But other days…Im a weirdo.
I have abench in the showerits a little teak one from Amazon.
So I sit on my bench and Ill listen to East Forest and just zone out for a while.
And then Ill rinse my hair.
Even if it’s just a body shower, I end with cold water.
But it also feels so good for your body, and makes getting out of the shower less painful.

That is when I do all of my lotions and potions.
The first thing I do is lotion my whole body.
If I want something quicker to absorb, I love theNecessaire body lotion.
I also really like the bigEmbryolisse tub of lotion.
I get it off Dermstoreit’s a big pump.
Nothing fancy, but very French pharmacy and it absorbs really well.

Then, I use theDe la Heart Lymphatic Drainage paddle.
I have not missed a day doing lymphatic drainage in over a year and a half.
Even if I’m drunk.
They’re super absorbent, but they also have a really nice cut to them.
My towel is still in my hair this whole time, by the way.
Got to multitask while you have all these rituals.
I usually do my face ritual as well.
I loveIsla’s Storm Serum.
I’m never going back.

And the packaging is beautiful.
I also loveDrunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream.
Then I’ll do theirC-Tango eye cream.
I will comb, and I will apply the Crown Affair oil.
And then that way when I take it out, it has a bit more of a curl.
I’m usually done with my lotions and potions by 9:30-ish.
Sometimes my husband and I will start to settle into a show.
We love watchingArrested DevelopmentandThe Office, just a 30-minute feel-good break.
Occasionally we’ll find ourselves deep in a documentary.
The other night we watched the Billie Eilish documentary, and it was five hours long.
It was amazing though.
I just got aBerkey filter.
It’s changing my life.
So I make a run at drink a couple of glasses of water.
I love just feeling really hydrated in the evening.
And I will usually read a couple pages of a book.
Its calledThe Overstoryby Richard Powers; it’s a book about trees.
It’s really important to me.
I’ve been doing that for about two years as well.
I usually keep it by my bedside.
The answer is usually more sleep.
Courtesy of Dianna Cohen
And that’s usually around 11:30 p.m. or midnight.
I have a go at get seven hours of sleep.
I’d love to get eight, but there’s only so many hours in the day.
And I sleep with socksyeah, I’m a weirdo.
I love a chic sock for bed.
My friend Jenni has a line calledComme Si, and I just am obsessed with their socks.
I sleep inOutdoor Voices CloudKnitmost of the time.
I get really cold, even in Florida in the summer.
We have this alarm clock we call Birdele.
It’s thePhillips SmartSleep lightthat replicates the sun.
Then I love a cozy, simple sheet.
Brooklinen just sent me theirLuxe sheet set, which was so nice of them and it’s so mushy.
I love a linen bedspread, just something that feels really fresh and cozy.
I actually have thispillow that I got off Amazonthat I’m obsessed with.
It’s $20 and I can’t recommend it enough.
It’s the last thing that I do.
I notice a difference the next morning if I don’t brush my hair right before bed.
And the answer is that it does.
It separates the fibers, but I find that it starts to settle in 10, 15 minutes.
My brush is on my bedside table, right next to my alarm clock and my water.
I’m like, Move your pet.
