I am FREAKING out.

I really can’t believe how nervous I am.

But I’ve trained my toosh off (literally, I’m down 13 pounds!).

Here are parts of a reassuring note Sheila sent me.

Her words of encouragement are definitely putting me at ease!

:

…Picking out the outfit and making and playlist is the best, most fun part!!

!I recommend putting your name on your shirt with iron-on(or puff paint/white out/etc) letters.

Getting those cheers is SO SO motivatingand people love to yell your name!!

It’s a big high.

In terms of your race week diet… you knowwhat to do!!

Eat healthy all week - just avoid the bad stuff!

You’ll probably startupping your carb intake (not crazy) a few days before.

Recline on your couch!

Just going out for a run for a fewhours, no big deal.

Do what you’ve been doing because it’s working for you!!

Seeing them setting up the bleachers and finish line is beyondinspiring and will get you so excited.

(I go the day after the race too).

I promise you will not regretany of the blood, sweat and tears for a second.

Rehab onmy bum right kneealso continues.

With physical therapy it really is getting better!

Last week I got a chance to train on an anti-gravity treadmill called theAlterG.

An increasing amount of physical therapy groups are using them to help patients recover from injuries.

The AlterG helps you run at only a percentage of your body weight.

You get zipped into the treadmill while wearing special AlterG shorts.

Warm air fills up around you before you get going running.

I’ll have to get a pre-race run in while wearing the gear to check that I am comfortable.

If you have any ideas forsuper great power songslet me know!
