With all of this marathon training, both pairs were pretty much worn down to nubs.

Normally, I’d head to a store where you canhave your gait analyzedwhile running on a treadmill.

This way sales people can help you better determine what jot down of shoe you need.

But with the marathon so close, I didn’t really want to make any drastic changes.

I still wanted a great running store.

And the people there really know their stuff which is super important to look for.

My sales person was a fellow spunky gal named Chrissy.

Chrissy is a runner too!

She agreed it was a good idea not to make any big changes weeks before the marathon.

I’m sticking with the Mizuno brand for now.

But like me, Chrissy is also a former dancer and is prone torunner’s knee.

She had some great, additional new sneaker suggestions to try out post-marathon.

you’ve got the option to check them out in the slide show below.

Good thing I did.

I go up a size from street shoes for my running shoes.

Turns out I needed to change my sock choice.

For some reason my latest pair leaves me a little too much room.

They are definitely working for me now.

I’ve already logged nearly 70 miles of marathon training with this new pair!
