Check out what Guarnaschelli says is thetrick to healthy eating(even when you’re surrounded by tempting treats!

), her go-to dish to make for parties and more!

What is your favorite healthy snack?

I love roasted beets with goat cheese.

I am also a fruit addict.

I use that as a measure of

my actual hunger and have enjoyed many apples since.

What’s your typical lunch or dinner like?

I cook for my daughter and eat with her.

Lots of vegetables – some get

eaten more than others – and a lot of soup.

What’s your least healthy habit?

I love to eat.

I could make a professional sport out of it.

What do you always keep stocked in your refrigerator?

Other than a bottle of Champagne and salted butter?

I always have a lot

of fruits, yogurt, green olives and goat cheese.

And, if I’m really

honest, there is always some bacon.

What’s your favorite dish to make for a party?

I love baking homemade biscuits and making little sandwiches.

Don’t be so hard on yourself.

Make something simple a few times until

you “master” it and move on to the next thing.

Take a cooking class!

Buy

a cookbook that specializes in foods or a cuisine you enjoy.

What are you most proud of?

Having the privilege to do what I love every day.

Have you had any epic kitchen disasters?

Too many to name and counting…

What’s your ideal girls' night out like?

A great bottle of Champagne – or two – and super-salty snacks.

And a few

good stories to share….

You’re busy!

How do you de-stress?

Hot baths and, admittedly, some good reality TV shows.

You worked for a lot of famous chefs before becoming a famous chef

yourself.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received from one of

your previous bosses?

Make the dish, then remove two items.
