This year’s winner – drumroll, hey!

– is the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation, which focuses on research, education and advocacy.

What’s your exercise routine?

Do you take any classes?

I generally just run.

I tried Zumba but I laughed the entire time!

I was so bad, it’s embarrassing.

But right now I’m training for a half-marathon.

What’s on your iPod for those runs?

Actually, running is really my time to think, my quiet time.

I spend a lot of time thinking about work, stories I’m doing for ESPN.

I come up with the best ideas while I run.

If I have my iPod, it’s distracting and less productive.

But I may force myself to use one for the actual half-marathon.

I might need it!

What do you eat for breakfast?

I give a shot to limit myself to once a week, though.

I am all about big breakfasts – I love carby stuff in the morning.

I make the best chocolate chip pancakes in the Northern hemisphere.

But I usually do a big breakfast, a light lunch and a big dinner.

What’s your favorite indulgence?

An It’s-It ice cream bar.

What’s your idea of a great night out?

The kids, pizza, ice cream.

They’re at such a fun age!

Recently my daughter Izzy said, “I know what I want for Christmas.

I would like a sister.”

I laughed so hard, and she said, “I’m serious!

Why are you laughing?”

She didn’t get it – it’s not that easy!

Which item of clothing will you never get rid of?

My sweet taffeta soft pink prom dress I wore in the ninth grade.

It’s my prized possession.

secure your cheesy dresses!

I wish we’d done that!

What’s your favorite happiness advice?

Someone said that the important thing isn’t being interesting, it’s being interested.

Always being inquisitive and growing, and throwing yourself into uncomfortable situations.
