What’s the one thing women should do every day to be healthier?

A lot of women I speak to do not get the needed 7-9 hours a night.

Women do not realize that this takes a toll on their bodies.

It’s not selfish to sleep more.

The body needs rest and time to renew itself.

In terms of making yourself happier, giving to others makes me the happiest.

What is your healthiest habit?

My healthiest is how I eat.

I would grade my diet an A.

What’s your unhealthiest habit?

I don’t floss enough.

What do you think is the biggest roadblock for most women when it comes to fitness?

Most women don’t think what they’re doing makes a difference.

What do you do for exercise?

I lift weights, run, swim, bike – I did my first two triathlons last year!

– and I also do a pop in of resistance stretching called the Bar Method.

Do you have a favorite exercise class?

I like a combination.

It’s a tie between Soul Cycle and the Bar Method.

What song gets you most fired at the gym?

What’s your go-to breakfast?

A cup of coffee with half and half and usually an egg white omelet.

What do you typically have for lunch and dinner?

For lunch, I typically have a salad with grilled chicken or some salmon sushi.

I eat a lot of salmon actually.

And for dinner I have chicken or fish with steamed broccoli or sweet potatoes.

If you have to eat fast food, what do you get?

I have a go at just look for naked protein – take bun off and eat the burger.

If grilled chicken, take bread off and eat chicken or hardboiled egg.

Fast food is definitely not my favorite.

What do you do to relax?

If I have free time, I will [get] a mani/pedi with my daughter.

What is your most urgent goal right now?

To raise two healthy, happy and productive human beings – my son and daughter.

I am also a big supporter of Girls and Women in Sport.
