So cool that you horseback ride!

What do you love about it?

I’ve been riding since I was about three or four years old.

And I realized I hadn’t been riding.

So I found this place that rescues horses and started going three or four times a week.

And it’s turned out to be my saving grace.

When you’re out riding, you could be anywhere.

I could be back in Australia for all I know.

So it’s nice not to have a place or time for a while.

Sounds like it’s a nice escape.

I think people feel better if they exercise.

From what I understand, you ride without stirrups, right?

Don’t you have to be even stronger to do that?

I grew up riding bareback.

Still don’t use ‘em.

And yes – there’s a lot of thigh strength involved.

I don’t find it difficult anymore because I’ve done it forever.

I have no problem with mechanical bulls.

That’s a good party trick!

Do you ever get to do that in bars?

The last time I did was back in Australia with the Sydney Theater Company’s Christmas party.

It was Cate Blanchett and I being really silly.

Australian actresses were looking at us like we were crazy!

It was pretty cool.

So when you’re out riding, do you take any snacks with you?

I’m usually so eager to get out there I always forget snacks!

I always end up atChipotleafterwards on the way home.

And it’s the best thing ever.

What’s your order?

Do you have a usual?

I live onguacamoleand salsa and chips with lime.

And brown rice and sometimes black beans.

I really like running.

I’ve got a beautiful dog and we go for runs.

I really likekayaking, too.

I live on a river at home in Australia, so we’ll kayak everyday and swim.

Climbing trees is really good exercise, too.

People should do more of that.

Andhula hoopingis pretty cool.

Do you always make time for exercise?

Yeah, I always allow myself enough time to do it.

you could’t do these things rushed – it’s like having a rushed massage.

That’s not fun at all.
