Before I committed to a get-fit routine, I could barely survive a 30-minute low-impact cardio workout.

Next up, I’ll increase that to 4 or 5 times in a row.

But a few months ago, some friends and I started going for walks at lunch.

I’ve got myself truly physically motivated for the first time in my life and I love it.

I started walking and doing the elliptical, and began weight training.

A year later, I had dropped 80 pounds.

It sounds silly, but I wanted to be able to show off my hard work with confidence.

Meanwhile, the biggest size only came halfway up my thighs!
