Training with the boys pushed her to try harderand it still does.
“I love working out with guys,” she says.
“I feel as if I have something to prove.”
Her buffed-up morning meal keeps her from feeling hungry and gives her loads of energy for early-morning games.
To that end, she drives the ultra-low-emission Toyota Yaris and composts.
Another tactic: repeating her power phrase.
“It’s a lot easier to bounce back from tough workouts when I’m at my strongest.”
So how does this hopeful chill out?
“I love to play brainteaser games,” she says.
Other de-stressors include listening to hip-hop music (preferably Lil' Wayne) and reading.
It’s the simplest way to keep my skin moisturized."
