Let me start by saying this: This is not what I came for.
But then, the rumors started swirling.
No, I said to myself, it couldn’t be.
I Googled the songwriting credits and saw Harris and some Swedish guy named Nils Sjoberg wrote the track.
Silly tabloids, I thought.
But then, the great People of Swift spoke.
Harris revealed that he’s pretty hurt Swift would confirm this.
By confirming she wrote the song, Harris thinks Swift is trying to “bury” him.
He took to Twitter to call out Swift directly.
So much to unpack here.
Obviously, the “new relationship” refers to Swift and Hiddleston.
That “Katy” referencethat refers to Katy Perry.
It’ll be interesting to see how this plays out.
Will Swift comment back on the matter, or stay mum?
And will we ever find out why she wanted to hide that she wrote the track?
It seems odd, especially for an artist who’s always championed takingcredit for your work.
Why would she want to change all that for Harris?
Most importantly: How is the real-life Swedish man namedNils Sjobergthe pseudonym Swift chosecoping with all this?
Can he ever get back to living his normal, Swedish life?
She should be proud of the trackit’s currently number four in theBillboardTop 100.
But did we expect anything less than success for a Swift-written song?
