Best All-Around Moisturizer: Shiseido Essential Energy Moisturizing Cream
This cream is perfection.
It has a nice, light, floral fragrance that I love.
Its a lightweight cream thats easy to spread and has a whipped consistency.
It absorbs so quickly, and doesnt leave behind any of that tackiness that some creams have.
It only leaves my face silky smooth and hydrated.
I love that thisoilcan be used in the A.M. and P.M. Plus, what really puts this product above the rest is the scent.
It smells like you just walked into an upscale spa.
Throughout the day it seemed to help keep myoily skinunder control.
While applying it, I felt a slight tingle on my skin.
After a few minutes I noticed that my skin looked smoother.
The best part is that I havesensitive skinand this didn’t irritate it at all.
I noticed myskin looked brighterand more even.
Once I opened it, I incorporated this product into my routine for the next week or so.
It definitely made my skin appear fresher in a subtle way.
It has a low-key scent that’s not overpowering.
It smoothed on really fast and easily.
It feels a little slick on the skindefinitely not sticky or thick.
Sometimes my face feels tight and almost too clean after cleansing and exfoliating.
Afterward my skin is glowy, moist, and ready to absorb anyserumsand moisturizers.
The clear cream looks and feels more like a serum, but it’s definitely a cream!
It smells minty fresh and has that cooling, tightening effect once applied.
I loved this particular product because it wasnt greasy.
Sometimes night cream is synonymous with thick balm, but I hate leaving grease stains on my pillowcases.
This Dr. Brandt formula is lightweight, almost like a gel-cream I would use during the day.
It layered well over my favoriteretinolproduct.
In the morning, my skin was silky smooth.
I do wish it had more of a scent, though.
Also the purple color is just fun!
As it dries, it gets thinner, but never really dries out or cracks on my face.
And it always leaves my sensitive skin feeling calm and moisturized.
The only downside is the price, honestly.
