What you need:Ayoga mat.

Heart opener

Reach your right arm underneath your left and across your body with your palm facing up.

Hold this pose for 810 breaths and then repeat on the left arm.

Spread your hands and press them firmly into the mat.

CatCow

Press your heels toward the floor and relax your head between your arms.

Your back should be flat.

Hold this pose for 810 breaths.

Thread the needle

Lean forward slightly to feel the stretch in your right hip.

Hold this pose for 810 breaths and then repeat on the other side.

Your left foot should be flexed.

Walk your hands alongside your left leg until you feel the stretch in the back of your left thigh.

Fold your torso over your left leg.

If you feel some pull behind the left knee, bend it slightly.

Hip flexor stretch

Hold this pose for 810 breaths and then repeat on the right side.

Extend your left leg long behind you and rest the top of your foot on the mat.

If it lifts off the floor, bring your right foot a little closer to your body.

Half split stretch

Rest your forehead on the mat.
