I have a go at prep myself pre-holiday.
I recently discoveredDailyBurn.comwhere you might get workouts online.
So if you go away, no matter where you go, you have the workout plan.
They have like 15 days of 15 minutes of exercise and [there are] great workouts available.
You’re tired in minutes.
note: We feel you, Tika.

What do you love about DailyBurn specifically?
Or do I even feel like going after waking up?
So I just go in my room and open my laptop and go to the website.
Do you still dance-based fitness classes, though, right?
Pure Barreis awesome (the eds at SELF agree!)
What’s stronger – the physical effect or the mental effect after a workout?
You feel like you accomplished something, but your body literally feels stronger.
And it helps you mentally in terms of making better food choices.
I’m up!"
My body is just on a drug, a high of working out.
Helps me make better decisions when I’m eating.
And in the end, you’ll get a better workout if you’re eating better, right?
I feel like people think they need to workout forever.
But a goodhalf-hourof something great is better than two hours of just wandering.
So when the holidays are actually here, do you stay active or do you take a break?
Oh it’s not a free for all, no.
I heard you like to cook.
I love to cook!
I also like making pies.Sweet potatopie.Apple pie.
My mom makes most of the food during the holidays, but I love dessert.
I can eat an entire sweet potato pie by myself.
I have done it before.
Because you know how throughout the day you’ll take slivers of the cake or the pie?
You’re like “Who ate all this?”
and you’re like, “Uh, I did.”
So, you know, it happens.
it’s possible for you to’t allow yourself not to enjoy certain things.
I think it’s all about balance and not fighting food.
Oh girl, I’m a fan of acocktail– Christmas or not.
I’m a very simple cocktail drinker.
I like a martini but I’m always up for a specialty drink.
When people doapple cider, like adult apple cider kind of thing, I’ll drink the whole thing.
Do you do anything to your skin to stay fresh-looking during this stressful time of year?
Just like spring cleaning, I have towinterize my skin.
I’m trying to do morefacials.
And I venture to keep my skin moisturized, usingbody scrubsto take off dead skin.
I’m a product junkie.
If you come to my house, I have like Duane Reade.
I do loveMario Badescuproducts, though.
What’s your mantra or mental strategy to stay calm during the holidays?
I put quiet, relaxation music on Pandora.
After, I feel energized.
I just feel like, “OK.
I’m ready.”
