What does your new normal routine look like right now?

For the first time in eight years, Im the one to get the extra sleep.

So thats been really special.

So just balancing work, both of their Zoom schedules, cooking round the clock for everybodythats been wild.

Ive always cooked with passion and made sure that dinners on the table.

But during this time its been breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, every single day.

Weve just been at home, trying to keep it together.

How have your kids been adjusting to all of the time at home?

Honestly, I think theyve been loving it.

How have you been taking time for yourself?

Have you been able to?

Ive done it in the form offiguring out a workout routineand really sticking with it.

That kind of went out the door when all of this happened.

I feel like work was always my outlet, and now the workout has become my outlet.

Thats how Ive really found self-care.

Everything just seems to move better.

It took me 31 years to figure that out.

I feel like it usually takes people even longer than that.

So how are you sleeping right now?

What does a night before bed look like for you?

I love that it helps you track your sleep.

I found initially that I was a horrible sleeper.

It is still a work in progress, but its gotten a lot better.

Its honestly made such a huge difference.

I found that I sleep a lot better.

Water intake has been huge, for whatever reason.

Youve only recently started sharing your wellness journey on social media.

What has it been like to go through that journey in the public eye?

Ive been on a pretty regimented journey for about a year now.

Because, you know, life is peaks and valleys.

I think thats when I started to be like, Hey, I want to talk about this.

Because it did take me so long to get there.

I wasnt the kid who was raised to go play outside and go be active.

So thats really how I started talking about it.

So that, for me, was a big thingjust finding that grace and also not overdoing it.

How have you and Steph been taking time for your relationship when youre home with three kids, 24/7?

What does that routine look like for you?

Were super blessed in the fact that my mom and my sister live five minutes away.

Ive made it a point during this time tofind my adventurous side.

My husbands been biking for a while, and my gear finally came a couple of days ago.

We took our first bike ride together this morning.

We did seven and a half miles bright and early, and honestly, it was so good.

Were going paddleboarding on Saturday.

Its reignited the flames, if you will.

The smallest things can keep things exciting and adventurous.

How have you been having those conversations with your kids?

We didwe took our oldest, Riley.

But with our oldest, we felt like it was time.

I mean, even if it wasnt time, it was time, you know what I mean?

So we brought her with us.

And of course we wore masks!

Its an ever-changing journey.
