Lunging Bird
Stand tall, bringing left leg behind you and lower into a lunge.
Both knees should be at 90-degree angles (as shown).
Push off the ball of left foot and raise left leg behind body.
Stretch arms behind you (as shown).
Hold, and lower back into a lunge.
Do 10 reps on each side.
Slowly reverse the movement.
Do 10 reps on each side.
Hamstring Kickback
Lie on belly with hands underneath chin, chest resting on mat.
Lift both legs off mat a few inches keeping feet flexed (as shown).
Kick feet toward butt, bringing heels together (as shown), then extend legs back out.
Bend right knee until thigh is parallel to floor.
Extend arms out to sides and keep hips facing forward (as shown).
With spine long, bend (as shown) and straighten back knee.
Keep your head at the same height throughout the entire exercise.
Do 10 reps on each side.
Draw a triangle with left toes while keeping hips lifted and as stable as possible.
Do 12 reps on each side.
Raise right leg into air (as shown) and inhale as you lower it in front of body.
Exhale as you push leg behind body, creating a circular motion.
Do 12 tiny forward circles and 12 tiny backward circles on each side.
